Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan is a service whereby a user of one library can borrow books or receive photocopies of documents that are owned by another library. You will create a new ILLiad account by choosing the "First Time User Registration" in the list of Quick Links on the right-hand side of the ILLiad page. Be sure to have the citation information associated with the article or book available when placing your online request.
You can check the status of your request at any time by logging into your ILLiad account and selecting "View/Modify Outstanding Requests" from the main menu.
Reciprocal Borrowing Card
University of Louisiana at Lafayette students (graduate students, restricted undergraduate students and distance education students) and faculty and staff who are in good standing may request a Reciprocal Borrowing Card that will be honored at participating Louisiana academic libraries. The card allows graduate students, faculty and staff to borrow materials directly from participating Louisiana institutions.
Request your Reciprocal Borrowing Card at our Circulation Desk. For more information, visit the Reciprocal Borrowing site or call or email the Circulation department at (337) 482-6025 or circulation@louisiana.edu.
