This guide shows you how to locate and create permalinks to online resources in Dupré Library's catalog and databases.
Creating Persistent Links to Ovid Journal Articles
- OVID Journals ** [see Note] This link opens in a new windowFull-text articles from a selection of nursing, clinical medicine, patient education, and public health journals. To access the OVID subscription, select "University of Louisiana at Lafayette Full-text @ Ovid" then the "Journals" tab.

1. Locate the article you want to link to and use on the Ovid Full-Text link in the upper right-hand corner of the record
2. Use on the Email Jumpstart link in the Article Tools box
3. Add Dupré Library's proxy URL (https://ezproxyprod.ucs.louisiana.edu:2443/login?url=) to the front of the Jumpstart URL before adding the entire link to your Moodle page.
