Introduction to Digital Archiving and Curation

What is digital curation?

We can define it in a few ways:

Digital curation involves maintaining, preserving and adding value to digital research data throughout its lifecycle (Digital Curation Centre).

…digital humanities data curation (often by researchers and not archivists or librarians) is selective in order to support research around specific humanistic and historiographical questions (Sabharwal, 2015).

So you'll need to think both as an archivist (more scientifically, toward the organization of information) and as a historian (humanistically--what is useful?).
