Note: Reference Chat and Email services are primarily for the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The department will assist the public if the question concerns the University or some unique resource of Dupré Library, such as Federal government publications.
Research & Access Services does just that! We help you conduct your research and access library materials. Come to the Research & Access Services Help Desk to:
Assistance is available in person at the Help Desk any time the library is open. Current Semester Hours of Operation.
Remote assistance is also available by calling, texting, emailing, or chatting the Help Desk. Contact Information.
The UL Lafayette Department of English provides writing assistance at its Writing Lab located in the library on the 1st floor in Room 155, around the corner from the Reference Desk.
In-person tutoring services are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters to help students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines at any stage in the writing process. Resources for those writing in English as a second language are also available.

Dupré Library's Interlibrary Loan service provides students and faculty with access to research articles and books not already available through the library's databases, journal subscriptions, and catalog. If Dupré Library does not own a book or journal article that you need, we'll order it for you from another institution through Interlibrary Loan.
Note:
Interlibrary Loan is only available to current University of Louisiana at Lafayette faculty, staff, retirees, and graduate students who are engaged in serious research and who are in good standing with Dupré Library.
