USC Shoah Foundation

USC Shoah Foundation's Institute for Visual Literacy and Education currently has more than 55,000 video testimonies, each one a unique source of insight and knowledge that offers powerful stories from history that demand to be explored and shared. The testimonies are preserved in the Visual History Archive, one of the largest digital collections of its kind in the world.

Remembering Kristallnacht: A Survivor’s Story

Manny Klepper, a Lafayette resident and Holocaust survivor, visited the Americans and the Holocaust exhibit at Dupré Library and shared his personal account of Kristallnacht—the attack on German Jews that signaled the start of the Holocaust on Nov 9, 1938.
