Information about Candidates is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. It is a nonpartisan, nonprofit “consumer advocate” for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.

Vote Smart's mission is to provide free, factual, unbiased information on candidates and elected officials. Every candidate and elected official from President to local government can be easily and instantly accessed through the Voter's Self-Defense System. Logo is a non-partisan website created to boost Voter Participation. This website allows users to answer various questions about their stances on hot-button topics in politics. At the end of the quiz, it shows the user where they stand on the political spectrum. The results also break down which candidate/party best matches an individual's beliefs by percentage, and shows on a map others around them with similar beliefs.
